Eastern Component Sales provides home owners, businesses, and industry with replacement parts for hard to find or obsolete products. The Uni-Jal Division of Eastern Component Sales provides operator parts, screen parts, grommet tools, and louver retainers for louvered windows and doors.

Louvered windows and doors previously purchased through Universal Metal Products (Uni-Jal, Uni-Vue) are opened and closed by means of a manual "operator" with hand-crank and shaft. These operator designs were changed from a cast housing type to a machined type over the years. The cast type is no longer available, but Eastern Component Sales can replace them with machined operator types. These operators consist of two styles, one for use with 4 1/2" bladed units and one for use with 8 1/2" bladed units. Be sure you stipulate the correct style (4 1/2" or 8 1/2"), color (bronze, white, or aluminum), and handing (installed on the right or left side of the unit - looking out from inside. These operators consist of 8 different components. 1. Housing, 2. Brass Worm Gear, 3. Cross Gear, 4. Housing Cap, 5. Hex Shaft, 6. Crank Handle, 7. (2) short installation screws, 8. (1) long installation screw. Each component can be purchased separately or the complete operator package can be purchased.
